We finally made it up to Green Bay for the game. Surprisingly, everyone was really friendly and we caught very little hate for rocking the blue and silver. We parked in front of some dude's crib, and he invited to some grub and suds. Cool peoples all around, the trip was, as Tom Hicks would say, "a great success."

Patrick and the crew over at Akomplice have been building with Kixpo since day one. For 2010 nothing has changed. However, Akomplice is taking things to another level. They've teamed up with Conveyor Fred Segal to release the Paint Project. The idea is reduce the effects of global warming by encouraging us the paint roads and roof tops a paler color. Ok so after a trip to NYC to see what the sneaker shops were like out east (all in lower Manhattan) I have my list of favorites if you happen to be in the area and what is worth checkin' out.

10. Dr Jays- they had a lot of urban gear, clothing but the shoe selection was thin.
9. Flight Club Lafayette- the only flight club that had clothing but the shoe selection wasn't on par with the rest of the FC stores and a lot of the selection seemed to be used but had the price to match
8. A.R.C. Clothing- not a bad setup but not a huge selection for being a stand alone store.
7. A.R.C. Sneaker shop- the only place that didn't allow pictures to be taken. The sneaker selection was weak but the setup was by far the best. Added bonus was the outside lounge for you up enjoy some seating with free water and beer while watching the World Cup
6. Supreme- seemed very ordinary with a small selection
5. Niketown-HUGE. This place had 5 floors with just about everything you want from Nike.
4. Flight Club Green st- nice place with a great selection of sneakers and G-Shocks.
3. Dave's Quality Meats- nice sneaker shop and a must see. What I think sneaker shops should be. Not a huge selection being that it all DQM clothing but a must see.
2. Premium Laces- this place was just like a local boutique but with a huge selection giving up looks for inventory. Great sales from T's to sneakers with a large selection to choose from. One of a few places where you could find new SB releases along with Jordan, Nike, Adidas etc. One of my favorite stops and the sales staff was cool and made you feel that NY vibe.
1. Flight Club Nassau- I have been to all of the FC's and this is by far the best just because of massive sneaker selection that was available there. Nearly all of the sneaker heads holygrails were able to be found here. This is a NYC spot that you have to put on the map to visit.

That's just a list that is my own personal opinion on the places I visited. Hope it helps for any sneaker head traveling to the area. Peace.

The USA's bid for World Cup supremacy has come to an end, but it was a wild ride along the way. Even with two mysterious ref calls that disallowed two goals in two separate matches, the Cardiac Kids still managed to make out of group play and face Ghana in the knock out round. An early goal by Ghana and early substitutions during the match proved costly as Team USA ran out of gas in extra play. A goal by Ghana in extra play sealed the deal.

Next up is Mexico vs. Argentina on Sunday on ABC at 1:30 pm CST.

So I was diggin' through the crates and found these, Nike Air Maestros II, red/black/white colorway. Some may recall Scottie Pippen sporting these during the '93-'94 All Star Game. I rocked these as a freshman in high school. As you can see, I used to wear kicks till the wheels fell off. Somehow they've managed to survive in a storage box for all these years. Definitely broke necks with these. The entire Flight line was so innovative for its time.
